Why only Monterey?

Every dive site behaves differently: how swell wraps around a point, how kelp and reef break it up, which tides make the entry easy. SurgeCast tunes each site against real conditions until we're as confident as we can be in its ratings. That takes time, so we'd rather cover a few sites well than many sites badly.
